Borough Presidents Take Control
Following NYC consolidation in 1898 control of the sewers was given to each of the five Borough Presidents. In the newly expanded Bronx, the event was noted in the change from of sewer inscriptions from D.S.I.(Department of Street Improvements) to B. B, (Borough of the Bronx.)

The 8 wheels circling a center wheel, the ferris wheel design, continued.

This is perhaps the most common of the Ferris Wheel designs seen in Bronx today.
