A Port Authority Stray
Found on the Bronx Community College Campus, this specialized Port Authority Electric stray may have some tangled inter-governmental story to tell. Or maybe not.
DESIGN:
The design is a standard from the East Jordan Iron Works with the somewhat haphazard placement of letters typical of the Port Authority in the center
UTILITY:
High Voltage usually means mains of about 5500 volts.
RANGE:
There are a number of PA E covers throughout the city, and a few Confined Space covers as well, but this is the only one that I have found with the two combined. On the campus of Bronx Community College, south of the Hall of Fame.
